In the studio, PTSD mainly works off of his Maschine studio and Akai Advanced. He also has an Apollo Twin pro interface and uses Yamaha HS8 monitors. He uses an iMac as his main workhorse, bringing everything together, recording is done through a Blue microphone. PTSD also works out of a professional studio for larger, more demanding projects, so contact him with any of your producition needs.
PTSD PRODUCER
PTSD, is a producer born and raised in England. Being a former infantry soldier, and Afghanistan and Iraq war veteran, he has a cool and edgy production style.
PTSD has been producing music since 2005, beginning on a foundation of basic audio software. He then progressed onto more established platforms.
Working with local artists, PTSD started making tracks on a budget, recording from a booth made in his closet. The community responded to the tracks with enthusiasm and zeal, which was motivational and inspiring, particularly since he was working off of such basic equipment.
PTSD initially became known for working closely with good friend, and fellow London-based artist Benny Blanco Young Gambino. Progressing from this foundation, PTSD moved into the British Army, where he continued to pursue his musical interests, often organizing music for army events.
After 6 great years in the Armed Forces, PTSD then decided to relocate to New York City, which reinvigorated his musical spririt by providing inspiration, an exciting backdrop and vast talent for collaboration to further pursue his production dreams.
PTSD currently lives in New York City. He is known for working with Queens based rapper San Thoro.
